Calgary Older Adult Action Plan

The Calgary Older Adult Steering Committee was established by ElderNET Calgary to encourage and facilitate greater collaboration among the wide variety of agencies and others providing services to older adults in the Calgary area.T

The Steering Committee consists of representatives of some of these agencies, and of the City of Calgary. The City is also providing valuable staff support to the Committee.

The Committee is currently identifying service areas where increased collaboration would be helpful, and developing the means of facilitating it. The search for increased collaboration is very much in keeping with the philosophy of Faithful City, and Pat Cashion is serving as a member of the Steering Committee.

Pat would be happy to hear from individuals, groups and organizations interested in participating in this valuable initiative.
